The craft of making is diminishing in our cyber society.
The two concepts of making usually consists of either casting or carving, an additive or subtractive process respectively.
These two processes will always serve as the backbone to any form of making.
The question however is whether the hand will disappear from this process.
The further the hand from the object in making, the more difficult it becomes for interaction of the hand afterwards.
This is what we as designers should be cautious of in our time.
